About

What started out as something to do for fun has grown into so much more. I absolutely love sewing for and customizing ball-jointed dolls. I have far too many ideas!

It all started when my grandma put a needle & thread in my hands to sew clothing for my teddy bears out of old drapes.

I must have been 5, and the drapes were avocado green from the ’60s.

Ever since then, I have been sewing up a storm! From doll clothes to quilts, tailored clothing and costumes to furniture covers and re-upholstery, I have been having a blast!

The one thing that has stuck with me, and maybe its because it all started here, has been doll clothes.

When I first got into the BJD hobby, I noticed a fairly large lack of casual, contemporary clothing for our dolls of all sizes. There were gorgeous, elaborate outfits around every corner, but the basics were few and far between.

I have been enjoying sewing for BJD’s since 2005 when I got my first boy, Kyoshi, a Souldoll Paris.

Resin Melody started in 2010, and I’ve been having a blast ever since. 😀

I was so excited to attend Resin Rose this year as a first-year attendee AND vendor! Unfortunately, due to current events, the trip out west will have to wait until next year. In the meantime, I’m looking forward to participating in the virtual event!

Feel free to connect with me on social media! I’d love to chat! 😀
