Faceup – IpleHouse JID I

I have always loved Iplehouse’s JID I. Ever since she was released as a limited through their Noctarcana Circus line, I have been wanting her.
Imagine my excitement when one of our local collectors asked me to do a faceup on her new I! 
She requested a faceup to go with a black wig, and provided me reference pictures in both photoshop and hand-drawn. I hope I got it all correct. *fingers crossed*
The PM to the owner was sent today with pictures, and I thought I would post them up here as well. I think she came out super cute!
Drow Kid Delf Elf Nara Pictures!

Pictures of the drow that was completed earlier this month!
She looks fantastic, in my opinion. Almost good enough to keep. 
However, I must sell her, so she is posted up on Den of Angels, and she will also be available at KollisionCon 2011.

Drow Luts Kid Delf Elf Nara

I have been working on customizing a discontinued Kid Delf Elf Nara head and a Dollzone 1/4 female body to be a drow elf.
The head was received directly from Luts back in 2008 or so, and it was a lovely shade of beauty green. >.< There was a bit of frustration at the time since Luts tried telling me the head was sold out AFTER I ordered and paid (via bank transfer no less), and I pushed the point that the head was in stock. Apparently, the only head in stock was the beauty green one…
The original plan was to put the head on a MNF large bust body, so both were ordered together. Unfortunately, other people have differing opinions as to what “fits” when it comes to a hybrid head/body combo. The neck-hole in the head was way too small to fit on the MNF body neck.
I was finally able to try the head on my Dollzone Feilian’s body, and the fit was PERFECT! However, the resin match was pretty horrible.
This all took time to take place, and I was just recently able to finish dyeing her and giving her a faceup. She came out really cute, in my opinion! I would love to do more of these, but it takes FOREVER to dye the dolls. Especially Dollzone – the resin did NOT want to take the dye without waiting forever…
She actually came out very even, which was surprising. The last doll I dyed black still ended up a bit streaky/splotchy.

Prayer Choa – Faceup #2

I completed the second faceup on my Prayer Choa. She has needed a new faceup for a little while, but since she will be posted up for sale, I figured a new faceup was in order. 
I’m really happy with how this faceup turned out. She looks even better clothed & wigged I will try to show pictures at a later date…

Narae Faceup

I finally finished a faceup on my Narae that I am happy with! It has taken many, many tries, but she looks adorable!

Plushies!

These are pictures of the plushies I received in a trade for a faceup not too long ago.
I received 1 bunny and 1 monkey plushie. Brownie (Volks Sweet Dream Mamu) is modelling in both pictures.

ResinSoul Mei Faceup

A few weeks ago I was able to work out a trade with a girl on DoA. A new faceup for her ResinSoul Mei in exchange for 2 absolutely adorable plushies.
The faceup came out fairly well, and the plushies are to die for!

Face-Up – B&G Loretta v1

A 2nd faceup for another girl on Dairyland BJD Forum
This one is a B&G Loretta. She was a lot of fun to paint, but unfortunately she will be redone per the owner’s request. She looks a little grumpy with this faceup – I’m looking forward to repainting her to make her look a bit less angry. She is still very cute, though.

Face-Up – Obitsu Gretel

Not long ago I had the opportunity to paint an Obitsu Gretel for one of the girls on Dairyland BJD Forum
I think she turned out really well, and what’s more important is the owner is happy with her.
I’m still working on my face-ups, but I think they are getting better. I’m planning on opening a commission thread on DoA soon, so if you’re interested, keep an eye out.
