2012 Meet Up/Event Schedule
For 2012, I am going to be listing not only the large meet-ups/conventions, but also the smaller Chicago-area meet ups that Resin Melody will be attending. They will be posted on the “Schedule” page.
While we may or may not have sales items, it’s always fun to meet new people and see new dolls!
If meets are hosted at someone’s private residence, the location will be withheld, but a link to the appropriate forum for RSVPs will be included.
Most meet ups are posted on either ChitownDollz or Dairyland BJD forums. Feel free to join & meet us! We don’t bite. 😉
Looking forward to posting more events/meet ups for next year, and hopefully meeting new people as well.

Virtual Sewing Meets!
I participate in virtual sewing meets hosted on Tiny Chat, and found out about them through Den of Angels. Unfortunately, DoA has decided to remove the “Links Out” subforum, and place the links in their wiki. That being the case, I thought I’d post an update here in case people want to join us.

Basically, it’s an online chatroom with a webcam option available.
If anybody wants to join in the chat, feel free! People come and go throughout the day, so if there’s nobody online when you join the room, stick around. Chances are, someone will be along shortly.
In all honesty, there’s no requirement to be sewing or have a webcam. It’s just an option. 😉

Dairyland BJD Summer Meet 2011
We had a fantastic time at the Dairyland BJD Summer Meetup in Madison!
A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to moderators of Dairyland BJD & meet planners. The entire event ran so smoothly and it was a ton of fun!
Resin Melody was able to successfully run a restringing demonstration and we were able to get a few dolls some much needed help. 😉

Dairyland BJD Summer 2011 Mega Meet
We are attending the summer meet up hosted by Dairyland BJD on July 16, 2011 in Madison, WI! These Wisconsin meet ups are like a mini-convention. So many people, so many dolls, and awesome items for sale! They have also started doing mini “panels”, or demonstrations, on various topics pertaining to BJDs.
I am honored to have been asked to host a restringing demo at the meetup. If you have a doll that needs a little bit of work, but don’t know quite where to start, come to the meet in Madison! It’s always a fantastic time, and I’ll be there to answer questions & offer hands-on help if needed.
The meet will be located at:
Badger Columbus Club 5256 Verona Road Madison WI 53711And it runs from 10am – 5pm CST.
There is a small fee to attend the meetup ($7) which covers the cost of the hall rental. At the last winter meetup, we had over 80 confirmed attendees!
